IT SERVICES FIELD TECHNICIAN
Job Description:
Candidate will be responsible for hands-on field work installing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the proper operation of various IT systems to include computers, scanners, printers, phone systems, network equipment, data cabling, and software applications.
Technician will be able to take direction from network admin teammates to physically & logically prepare and deploy computers, servers & other IT equipment. Strong written & verbal communication skills are required to thoroughly detail work in our documentation and ticketing systems.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are must-have attributes for this position. Candidate will be responsible to utilize our remote monitoring & maintenance software to ensure deployed IT assets stay up to date with applicable patches, updates, and standard processes & procedures.
Mandatory Requirements:

Strong Customer Service skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to work under pressure.

Reliable Transportation & Valid South Carolina driver’s license. We reimburse for mileage.

Reliable late model smart phone that will be utilized to communicate with peers via voice & video chat as needed. We reimburse for cell usage.

Cabling and system work includes ladder use, crawling under desks, and being able to lift up to 50lbs.

1-2 years’ experience installing / troubleshooting voice & data cabling: drop runs and terminations
-
1-2 years’ experience installing / troubleshooting computers: Windows 7/10 & Macs
-
2-3 years’ experience TCP / IP Networking: strong understanding of basic IP/DNS/Gateway & Routing concepts critical for this position.
-
Candidate must have superior troubleshooting / fault isolation skills.

Willingness to occasionally work outside business hours to support hardware project work
Preferred Requirements:

A+ Hardware Certification
-
Network+ Certification: TCP/IP (IP addressing, Gateway, DNS, IPV4/6)

MS Office Installations (Office 2010 & Up)

Active Directory: 1 year
-
Phone system / Traditional PBX support experience is a plus

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
Job Description:
Candidate will be responsible for hands-on field work installing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the proper operation of various IT systems to include computers, scanners, printers, phone systems, network equipment, data cabling, and software applications.
Technician will be able to take direction from network admin teammates to physically & logically prepare and deploy computers, servers & other IT equipment. Strong written & verbal communication skills are required to thoroughly detail work in our documentation and ticketing systems. Strong personal skills and the ability to diffuse potential volatile situations with end users are an absolute must.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are must-have attributes for this position. Candidate will be responsible to utilize our remote monitoring & maintenance software to ensure deployed IT assets stay up to date with applicable patches, updates, and standard processes & procedures.
Mandatory Requirements:
Applicant must have 2+ years of hands-on experience working in Microsoft Windows & Linux based client / server environments. Specifically, applicant must be well versed in the installation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of the following systems:

Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems: 2008 to 2016

Linux OS: Ubuntu, Debian

Office 365 & Microsoft Exchange
-
VMware / Hyper-V
-
Microsoft PowerShell & Scripting
-
LAN / WAN connectivity to include the ability to program various firewall, routing & switching equipment.

VPN and other site-to-site connectivity methods
-
Various print, scan and fax systems

Reliable Transportation & Valid South Carolina driver’s license. We reimburse for mileage.

Candidate must have reliable transportation, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and present a clean professional appearance. Additionally, you will be required to detail your daily work via our time and ticketing software application.
